Barcelona who has been so superior this season was phenomenally knocked out the Champions League by AS Roma. After bagging a quite promising 4-1 victory in the first leg of the quarter-final just a week ago, the Blaugrana European trip was brutally ended by a 3-0 defeat at the Stadio Olimpico, making I Giallorossi breezed their into the semi-finals thanks to an away goal advantage making their first semi-final appearance since their 1983-1984 season.
Kostas Manolas made sure the Serie A side went through with his goal in the 82nd minute, completing the comeback after Edin Dzeko gave Roma the lead on the 6th minute and Daniele De Rossi made no mistake converting from the spot on the 58th minute.
Before hand, coach Eusebio Di Francesco said that his men needed a miracle to be able to beat this Bacelona team, considering they had to cover the three goals deficit.
And they managed to do just that with Edin Dzeko quickly putting his name on the scoresheet after he brilliantly maximized Daniele De Rossi's through ball in the Catalans penalty box.

At Manchester, Liverpool managed to stepped into the semi-final of the Champions League with a 5-1 aggregat win after sinking Manchester City with a 2-1 defeat at
the Etihad Stadium.
Two goals in the second half produced by Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino sealed an absolute victory for the Merseyside Red and made them accomplish the top four spot after they won 3-0 in the first leg at Anfield last week.
Going down in the same line, Liverpool were somewhat surprised by the hosts' opening goal when Gabriel Jesus manage to put city ahead of the visitors in just the second minute to seal a 1-3 aggregate.
